Redwood National and State Parks
Redwood National & State Parks is 139,000 acres along 35 miles of California’s northern coast, comprised of Redwood National Park and three state parks - Jedediah Smith, Del Norte Coast, and Prairie Creek. 40,000 acres of the parks' forests are healthy, old-growth redwood forests. Almost twice that amount of forests in the parks are degraded, second-growth forests. The four parks are managed collaboratively between the state and federal agencies.
