Find a Network Forest

The forests in the Old-Growth Forest Network are chosen because they are among the oldest known forests in their county. They have formal protection in place that ensures that their trees and ecosystems are protected from commercial logging. All Network forests are open to the public so that everyone can experience them for recreation and personal well-being.

…OR FIND DETAILS ON NETWORK FORESTS BY STATE:

If your state is not listed above, it means that we have not yet identified and designated a forest in your state. If you would like to help us do so, consider volunteering or nominating a forest in your state.

Whenever you visit a forest, please abide by all regulations set forth by the land management agency, in addition to the 7 Leave No Trace Principles. Together we can ensure that these forests are protected for many generations to come!
