Giving Tuesday 2021: Your Way to Protect Old-Growth Forests
What will be your impact?
Each year, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving marks a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity” by encouraging people from around the world to give generously to nonprofit organizations. We all know about Black Friday and can probably conjure up intense scenes in our heads of crowds rushing into stores to purchase heavily discounted items, but perhaps it’s time for a new tradition? Giving Tuesday can be just that: a fresh start.
This year for Giving Tuesday, which falls on November 30th, the Old-Growth Forest Network is dreaming big! 2022 marks our 10 Year Anniversary and we want to celebrate both our past accomplishments as well as share our roadmap for the next ten years. We want to take time during this season of giving to raise funds to help achieve our monumental goals for 2022 and beyond. We’re asking our community of forest lovers to help us raise $10,000 in honor of our 10 Year Anniversary. Thanks to the extreme generosity of a few donors, we’re already starting off Giving Tuesday ahead!
To date, we have received $5,500 in pledged donations, and all we’re missing is you! Please take a few moments to consider donating to the future of the forests you love so dearly and to defend these ecosystems that are so crucially important to protect. Does this sound like you? Check out a few ways you can get involved below!
