Sulzbacher Demonstration Forest
The stand of old growth is 8 acres and is part of a 36.45-acre property. Core samples taken by the service forester determined the stand origin to be around 1838, so many of the large trees are about 180 years old. The dominant trees are white oak. This forest is special because of all the old growth trees.
