West McIntire Park
A park central to the Charlottesville area, West McIntire Park is a network of trails among a variety of sizable, mature trees. One can make a loop, starting with the northern trail, bordering the high school. Tulip trees stand out impressively, among maples, beeches, oaks and hornbeam. Loop back to the parking lot on the multi- use trail, where tall oaks dominate the walk.
